Symphony of Oneness
Elegantly
She stands
In a corner
Inviting me
To play with
Her Delicate Digits
She takes
Pride
In her
Shapely form
Rounded tone
And knows
Of the haven
Her music
Creates
Heavenly
Irresistible,
She is
My feet have
Gained
A mind of their own
Before I realize,
The bench
Is under me,
My fingers
Curved
Perched atop the
Smooth
Black and white
They run
Across the keys,
And I
Am filled
With Fulfillment
I allow my
Fingers to run
Loose
For I know, they,
Have also joined
My feet in
Their secession
From my
Mind
Melodies
Leap from my
Fingertips
To the keys,
Telling a story
Never told
Before
I am lost
In a
Different dimension
No longer bound,
Flying
Captive Yet Free
My fingers
Scramble
Across the keys,
Trying to render
Perfection,
The music
Exquisite and
Unique
I hear
Children laughing
Sonorous voices
Tinkling bells
Complementing
Soul mates
Memories arise
Childhood tales
Fantasies
Fairies and angels,
African drummers, and
Indian dancers,
United, as one,
Through music
All too soon,
My eyes flutter
Open
Bedazzled by the experience
Yet Yearning
For more
And just
For a moment,
A single
Moment,
I am again
In the land
Of shining stars,
And singing birds
Escorted by
Heavenly tunes
She stands
In the corner,
As if
It were all just
A dream
Nonchalant
At that
Instant,
I realized
How supremely
Beautiful
Playing a piano
Can
Be
