I don’t want to wait
not anymore
I want time to take me
as its own
I’m tired of
having to listen and speak
to everything that’s here
I don’t want to take
my own time to recover
from the atmosphere
I know I can’t
it doesn’t work
trust me, I’ve tried
not once but thrice
it sounds simple
as I wish it were
but no
I can’t make time as
my own
and so I’ve decided
to let go
