It's always there.

Things will be good, but yet it's still there.

There is no getting rid of it.

There is no outrunning it, because it will catch you.

Oh but if you ignore it, it will make its presence known.

It will start out small like a headache.

Then it will get louder and louder.

Then you will have to notice.

Then once you acknowledge it, it feels invited and decides to stay, even though you don’t want it to.

It makes itself comfortable by exploring all your problems and insecurities.

It will keep them on repeat so that's all you can think about.

Whatever task you were doing at that moment becomes impossible.

It becomes unbearable to keep being reminded of all your flaws, even though they aren’t true.

But it makes it hard to think that.

It tells you all of them are true until you believe them.

It kicks you out of your body completely taking it over.

You are then left floating outside your body looking down on yourself.

You can no longer live like this.

But it's always there.
