Bus Ride Home
It´s been a long day.
Can´t wait to see you.
I want you to never let me go.
And let me cry into your shoulders.
I want us to watch a movie and laugh.
So I can forget about my day.
I want the both of us to stare into each other's eyes and let that do the talking.
On the bus ride home, I sit alone.
Staring at the scenery.
Staring at the people and the cars passing by.
All different lives.
I see a flower that reminds me of you.
I really want to see you.
The bus driver asks me where to drop me off.
I respond with the directions.
The directions being home.
And home is you.
