I believe everybody has what I call a social battery.

My battery runs out at the worst of times.

I will be with friends having fun then my smile drops from my face and I just want a break from them.

I just go quiet and wait for my battery to recharge

I believe that I have a big social battery and I can spend the entire day with friends but I like a small break just a few minutes to myself.

Like a phone if I charge too long it damages the battery.

If I am alone to long I am not in the mood to be sociable, and get snappy with my words

When somebody else’s social battery runs out I try to be respectful and give them a minute to compose themselves.

I learn to recognise the feeling of my smile slipping away.

I recharge and the smile is back and excited to be with friends.

I know better than to put on a fake smile.

Authentic smiles are the one way road to go.
