horrors of lost control
a voice i follow
through a hole
i fall
to be caught
by a pool
of glowing rocks
water circles
and i lose her
to lost hymns
i know what this is.
out i climb
unbarring my eyes
to a carousel
of discarded care
try again
to a menagerie
of locked promises
open them forcefully
one last time
to a circus
of dead wonder
every blink
a new horror
when
will this madness ever end?
i
can’t have no control
sometimes
it’s not enough.
