"Stars, hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep desires" - Macbeth

On the soft sparkling sand

Glowing pink in the sunset

Along the quiet waves

Walked a silhouette

With toes dipped in the ocean

And hair waving in the breeze

She trekked alone

Then got down on her knees

With her skirt immersed in the waves

The tips of her hair moist

The sound of the waves was joined

With the tune she voiced

In the pink glow

On the shore of the sea

Sat a little girl

A girl who was free

Hi, I'm Lisa! This poem is a sequel to my other poem, Girl in the Moonlight. Both poems are about a fantasy/dream of simply living and enjoying the innocent moments of life. I hope you enjoyed reading my poem, thank you!

This has such lovely imagery! I like how you create a feminine, almost delicate, picture. Nice work! :))
