Sharing is NOT Always Caring
How is the natural
African American hair
seen as
distracted,
unprofessional,
or even unbearable
How is the natural
White hair
seen as
Beautiful,
professional,
Or even approachable.
How are protective styles for
African American hair
on African Americans
seen as ghetto,
nasty,
or even ratchet.
How are protective styles for
African American hair
on White individuals
seen as trendy,
cute,
Or even “for the culture.”
If you say that it is different,
please try again with your
thinking.
Have the same
attitude
for African Americans
as you do for White individuals
when they
steal our
Culture.
