DANCING WILD
I once believed darkness was only in my entirety
I once found out that I was never made to fit
I once just thought I had to give up my timeline
Only to find beauty hidden under my wildest sins
But then she said she’d know me,
“Dancing wild, cursing all the street lights
Moonlit witch, sequin eyes, running on the skyline
Gloomy grey gown, her beauty was just so wild
Tossed in autumn branches like an orange rind
Hidden scarlet message in her hazel eyes
Imperfect perfections, not so nice”
But my heart stayed tolerant, never too bright
Tried that too but failed countless times
Fell down, got up again one midnight
But I only remember dancing wild, cursing all the street lights
Moonlit witch, sequin eyes, running on the skyline
Gloomy grey gown, my beauty was just so wild
Brimming with perfections, not so nice
