i’m truly sorry
i guess it was completely absurd to think
i can actually
go somewhere, to believe that
i have a purpose, to know
i
will
change
the
world.
i so deeply apologize
for the defiance in my eyes
for the boldness in my glare
i know it makes others stop and stare
but it just
angers you.
i know
you know
that i’m not going anywhere
i’m here to stay
even if it means that i have to pave my own way
