Swept Under
Coming by the water, the tide swept me under.
The ocean so blue, I had to wander.
Though it's an ocean so deep, I had to keep searching.
I was swept off my feet and I had to accept the fact that I had fallen under.
Under into a pool of wonder, asking myself the reason why I am here.
Not sure, but surely I'll find out.
Maybe it's because of my doubt, or me trying to make out
a point for my sorrow.
But I am sure that this life under the surface is more than just amorphous.
It's an element of life, and it flooded over me.
Taking over, like clovers in a field of daffodils.
I found peace in this life under, until I had to come up for air
and see the sky pouring down on me.
But here I am still,
swept under into an ocean so blue and somehow I knew that I could get used to this view.
