Its purple and white, and yellow too

It's got spiky hair that can hurt you

Its big eyes follow you around

I’m scared just to touch the ground

They growl, and howl, and holler too

But don’t be fooled when it tries to 

Lure you…..

Underneath the bed 

Those monsters are stuck in my head

Gnawing at my thoughts

So I guess I’ll have to lock them in a box

And throw away the key

That’s where my monsters ought to

be
