A River
There is a river
A river in the brain
That holds the tears
Of every living being
Most humans hold them in
And cover their face
With a mask
To hide their true emotions
But when stress builds up
The dam holding the tears
Start to crack and break
As the water seeps through
The mask the human wears
Falls off the face
And outcomes the tears
The tears of pain
The tears of hurt
The tears that wouldn’t stay in
The tears that show
The real feelings
Of one who
Holds everything inside

Holding in all the pain and hurt we feel behind a mask is something very difficult that a lot of us people experience.
