I told you when we met that I would go away,
But I fell in love with you anyway.
I didn’t come into your life to stay.
I know that we’ll have to part someday,
But I honestly don’t want it to happen today.
Everything that begins must end, so they say.
My love for you began strangely,
And it won’t end when you leave today.
Even though we love each other,
It’s time for me to go and move away.
My heart will never be ready to lose you.
