Difference
Dearest friend, we laugh freely at our random thoughts at night
Yet, we both talk differently about our thoughts.
Dearest parent, we talk about our experiences with a grin
Yet, you talk about one person like they are your family.
Dearest family, we travel together with a phone and camera to see the world
Yet, seeing one thing different is a big deal for us.
I love you all dearly,
Yet our irritations keep us from seeing things through a different lens.
If we swapped places, would we be able to still say the same things then?
