Savior of honey
To love you from a distance
Words I thought I’d never have to say
To understand the heartbreak shows dissonance
To love another but still love you
And have to love you from a distance
Irreplaceable they say
You proved I could be replaced
You can be replaced by someone new
A love he shows me is pure and true
But I’m not irreplaceable, and neither are you
Forgetting you
I never thought I’d have to
With weaseling your way into every corner of me
You left a mark on my heart
But never on my lips
Making it that much easier to forget you
You’re a figment of my mind
As are my tears
As are my bittersweet memories
You are nothing to me
Nothing but a figment of my mind
An echo of my once suicidal thoughts
A terrible echo that I never want to hear again
But now
That echo is finally silent
Replaced by the sweet sound of honey
