I hate the vessel
But loathe the soul
Unable to alter it
Stuck - forever, pulling me down
If I could tear it out I would
bury it far from light
Live shell-like, difference unnoticed
Puncture holes in its box so it might not die
Masking motivation
that I want someone to care and dig it back
Return it to its body
Telling both they are loved
