god’s plan

Could you let me know,
how this is quite possible.
I’m aware that you left,
for reasons only he knows,
but if God truly has a plan,
why were ours not identical?
For my path was crystal,
the future clear as day,
though yours had twists and turns,
far too many along the way.
I’ve grieved this loss,
through a number of treacherous thoughts,
and at this point I can only hope,
that after so very long,
we will both end up at the destination,
in which he intended all along.
