What Running is like
I am in the beautiful Hafer Park, running
I run up a steep hill
I can hear my feet hitting the ground one after another
I look around and see the trees and leaves falling, knowing that is it the fall
All I can feel are my legs starting to burn
I look at my watch and see that I have only ran for a few minutes
I can see other people running, walking, and biking as well
I can smell the flowers around me
I am almost there as I see the lake out in front of me
I can hear birds chirping
As I pass the lake, I can hear the kids playing around
It is a playground, all the different colors I can see red, yellow, and blue
We are almost there, I am sprinting, out of breath
My legs are burning
Now I can taste the cold, refreshing water flowing through my mouth
Now I get ready and set to run another lap
