Waltz
In the thick night’s hushed silence,
Moon slides down to the third poplar for a secret glimpse
As life and death emerge from the shadow
And dance together until the first ray of sunshine glow
Life, with a tender touch,
Caresses death's cold clutch,
As death, with a skeletal hand,
Guides life through their ethereal land
They waltz to a rhythm unnamed,
Life hums a soft melody
While death, echoing its steps
sways gently under the moonlight.
Their dance goes on and on,
Following a relentless rhyme,
Life and death together,
Weaving a symphony of love and sorrow.
They are not each other’s counterpart
Together they maintains the cycle,
In the nature of rise and fall.
