The Reality of it All
The reality of it all
Is that,
At the end of the day,
I wonder whether
I had played the game
Right.
I tripped up the stairs this morning;
Almost died fourth block -
Think that's enough.
Maybe,
Tomorrow,
Retry.
Because the reality of it all
Is that if you don't play -
If you don't live -
By the rules of the game,
Standards set by everyone
Who ever thought,
Ever walked,
Ever talked,
Ever wondered,
The reality of it all
Is that maybe,
Sometimes,
We wish to start over
Before the game even begins;
Before our second chance is;
Cemented.
The reality of it all,
Is that you never really know
When you can start again;
So make today;
Your Do-Over,
Because that's
The reality of it all.
