Highschool Experience
Walking through the hall routines feeling like old news
No longer a confused freshman now navigating my junior year.
From math to English history to science view
The workload piles up tasks to pursue.
Lunchtime in the buzzing cafeteria is always a delight,
Chattering with friends and sharing moments light.
Observing the seniors with excitement and fear paired
I ponder my year and if I'll be prepared.
Sports and clubs offer choices galore
I've found my niche, where winning's not a chore.
Practicing hard and aiming for something
Unveiling talents out of the blue.
Homework every evening tests on the study floor
Pushing myself further craving for more and more.
Guidance, from the counselor charts out what's best
Planning ahead for tomorrow while tackling today's quest.
As the bell chimes signaling completion
Junior year conquered, no small feat. It's year a fresh start to embrace
I'm gearing up prepared to handle any case.
High school has been the journey till now
Guiding me through revealing my inner glow.
No longer the confused freshman I used to be
Now a junior, braver and free.
