I want to stay like this forever

I don’t want to grow up
I don’t want to watch my parents grow up anymore than they already have
I don’t want to leave my house where all the memories I’ve made stay
I don’t want to get a job
I don’t want the next year to come
I don’t want the next day to come
I don’t want the next minute to come
I just want to stay this way forever
In the comfort of my young heart and my mother’s arms
In the bed that I’ve dreamed so many dreams
Surrounded by all my stuffed animals
Safe and Sound.

Been having such a hard time coming to terms with the fact that the future is coming, I hate that I’m growing up and I don’t know how to deal with it so I thought writing about it would help.
