Favorite Quote:
Life is tough, but so are you

You are now a stranger to me,

I don’t know if you’re friend or foe.

You act like a mysterious acquaintance,

To me, you act as if you don’t know.

You pretend you don’t know or see

The pain you are causing me.

I am just the so-called visitor,

Looked upon with scorn and grief.

I’m not a newcomer or migrant,

I used to be your friend.

I’m hurting, can’t you see?

You’re not acting as you ought to be.

I’m not a sojourner,

Looking for a place to stay.

I’m looking for a peace of mind,

Of why you act this way.

Thank you for your past friendship,

Though it is no more.

But, if you ever need some help,

You can just knock on my door.

This poem is about being abandoned by friends and then trying to get back up again.
