Our Last Summer as Kids.
In the 1960s, where the summers were long and bright
We'd gather by the creek, with our friends in sight
The sun would shine down, casting a golden glow
As we'd spend our days, just chilling, you know
We'd lay on our backs, and watch the clouds float by
With not a care in the world, just feeling alive
The water would flow, with a gentle, soothing sound
As we'd laugh and talk, and make memories profound
The creek was our haven, our own little slice
Of paradise, where we'd escape and find our peace
We'd fish and swim, and play all day long
And when the sun would set, we'd sing our songs
Oh, those were the days, my friends, oh so sweet
When life was simple, and our hearts were light
We'd chill by the creek, and just enjoy the ride
With our friends by our side, and the world at our feet.
