The Little Girl Who Lives Within Me
as I look into the mirror
I can’t help but feel hurt
like I’ve let her down
the little girl inside me
she is probably wondering a lot
maybe where my spark went
or why my body changed so much
all I ever wanted was to make her proud
but I see I’ve failed to do that too
