Lost in Night
Struggling between life and death,
“I’ll go, I’ll do what it takes to survive”,
She said, with determination in her eyes,
Catching a glimpse of the endless night.
Watching countless life withering by,
“I’m done, I’d rather die than bearing this sight”,
She said, with anger in her eyes,
Ventilating her rage in the endless night.
Bearing losses of every loved one,
“I’ll give up everything, to have them by my side”,
She said, with despair in her eyes,
Her cry echoing in the endless night.
Withstanding traumas, betrayals till tears are dry,
“I’ll be fine, I’ll live on with my life”,
She said, with no emotions in her eyes,
Losing her voice, merging with the endless night.
