Excessive Thinker
Her name states who she is
Along with what she does
Sitting silent, lost in space
She’s somewhere else it seems
She’s not angry, or sad or wistful
Just gone astray in reflection
Simple thoughts lead to extensive ones
She’ll ponder these for hours
Her mind is like a microscope
It inspects every angle
Some will say, just let it go
Don’t think, just live your life
But that’s not how it works with her
She’ll contemplate and wonder
And eventually conclude
Until her next notion begins
