If I loved you does that mean id stay on the phone for hours just to hear your voice?
If I loved you, would I hold back so you could do what was right?
If I loved you would I not tell you how I feel?
If I loved you would I cry at night knowing your with someone else?
If I loved you would I even be writing this poem?

If I actually cared would I talk you out of misery?
If I cared would I bother to ask how you are feeling?
If I cared would I even ask what you have been upto lately?
If I cared surely I would try to get along with your friends?
If I cared would I do my best to talk to her for you?
If I cared would I bother wasting my time contacting you?
If I cared would I even be writing this poem?

If I need you, would you come running?
If I was to tell you how I felt, would you understand?
If I kissed you, would you back away?
If you were my friend, then why would you flirt?
If I was with another guy, what would you say?
If I got hurt, would you save me?

If im writing this because of you, would you write because of me?
