The Sky
A broken cage of wistful hope,
A fallen man held up with rope,
 I feel a warmth, a lost depression,
A lasting dream, a deep impression.

A hand-made kite flies in the sky,
It does not drop, although wind dies,
A young boy watches bright blue stars,
He lays on roads though fears no cars.

The day flows on a darkened wave,
A new-born flame, the firelight gave,
A dying heat, a winter frost,
I close my eyes and all is lost.
