To Watch from Afar
b-bmp b-bmp goes my telltale heart,
the one you hit directly with your dart.
Smile that smile that’s not from me
I just wish I wasn’t there to see.
To walk with her, to hold her hand.
To praise every single lock, every strand.
I sneer and spat and scowl and scorn,
as I walk on, my emotions worn.
It hurts to see my dreams come true,
that person with you is she.
But maybe, out of the blue,
that one, your God, your forever, will be me.
