Hands in the air!
You have the right to remain silent.
Crime show repeat these words
The cops say them
We joke about them
They are more
Than just a mantra
They are protection
They protect everyone
The police protect us
What if they go too far?
What if they lose control?
Do we fear our protectors?
Who do we go to for help?
Are they the ones we trust?
Don't we ask for their help?
Respect authority
Trust it to help you
In America the police help
But what if they're the bad guys?
What do we do?

I was watching the news and the newest scandal is police brutality. I live in a country where most people can trust in the law to be benign. What do we do when the cops lose it? I don't know, but maybe we can force the cops to look in the mirror if we all speak up.

Very true. There are so many police that abuse their power.
