Hidden Rain
O Silent night, a day of frill and delight,
let thy snow be thy words,
and touch the earth with your slender fingers,
as night sews the lips of day,
nothing has come out to play,
snow so silent and so bold,
watching the night as others grow old,
life has seemed to cease,
though you are silent snow,
I seem to hear you,
only you should know,
as quiet as you are,
your loud sound is hitting the ground,
and waking up spirits,
with joy and snowdays.
