Ship Wrecked Love
This silence only leaves space for unwanted memories.
I lay and dream: wishful thinking.
My heart, now a ship
on the verge of sinking.
My ship caught in the typhon,
yet no wind will blow in these sails,
only around me to ruffen the waters
as this love prevails.
As I rock away
in your uncalm water,
I only look toward
the sun tomorrow.
And yet the day breaches,
here I still forever will lay.
Another tear will always fall,
for your love always turns away.
Like the prayer in the storm,
or night before the morn',
when I lift up off my knees,
your love will crawl back to me.
Ocean so setteled
sky, clear blue.
My wind is blowing,
but never again for you.
Forever you stay in the empty sea,
now my wind blows endlessly.
Swirling around and around
on your hands speaks your plea.
“Forsaken wind I know what I have done.
Forgive me, for I cry!
Blow my sails to shore,
safely ever more!
A fool I am, as I admit.
My decision I made hastly quick.
I left for I knew I could always return,
a selfish decision I now yearn.”
I knew not the storm would destroy me...
Such harm I never entailed.
To take it back I would,
for this love has failed.
A Fragile ship
caught in turmoiled wind,
with a captian
who shall never win.
