Fresh Wound
My hair hangs deadlike in my face.
A tear runs down my cheek.
I'm looking at a blank screen.
The skin under my eyes burn,
From the hysterics of earlier.
I told you I couldn't live without you.
Never thought you'd try to call my bluff.
Did I mean nothing to you?
I must have for you to just,
Take off like this.
Did you think I was stupid?
Just someone you could use?
Do you even feel the slightest bit of hurt?
I guess not.
But, you'll be sorry.
Because I think I was bluffing after all.
And eventually, I will heal.
Who knew that happiness,
Could be the best revenge?
