A crisp, cool chill filling the air,
with lights flashing everywhere.
Santa’s night is coming soon,
And a warm turkey ready at noon.
Snowflakes fall upon the ground,
for children to make their snowballs round.
Beautifully wrapped presents line the tree
ready to be open by all with glee.
But let us not forget the meaning of this day.
Jesus was born in a stable and in a manger he lay.
