Truth In Blood
The connection:
 It exists in your mind,
 Dwells in my livelihood,
And thrives off of your blindness. Your truth leaves a trail of breadcrumbs to the past,
My past, my blame, my outcomes, Resting on my shoulders,
 I can't forget the past...
 I'm not yours.
The mirror reflects a free man, You're just a shadow,
I can't forgive the present... Nearing the point of revelation, I'm learning to adjust,
 I reject a future...
We are not bound by genetics,
We are not tied by heritage,
And my truth is not in your blood.
