Noises
I cover my ears
shadows
I close my eyes
in my other world, I am safe
deaf and blind, if only for a time
if I can't see you, you can't see
me
if I don't hear you, you don't hear me
I won't fear you, and you won't fear me
it's childhood logic, it's more than make believe
but no less than the magic of a few falling leaves
