Sunlight
Sunlight falls
 On broken hearts
 The moonbeams break
 In broken shards
 The cloudy skies
 The broken lies
 The tears I shed
 The blood I bled
 The alibis
 Our lives are lies
 No exception
 For pure determination
 Or broken nation
 A sad place in
 This sad world
 I think and curl
 Up in my bed
For the many we know are dead
 Because of our guns
 The many sons
 Of sad Iraq
 We had their back
 Then we stabbed it
 When we had it
 up to here
 With there fear
 I just wish that sunlight
 Would just end the fight.
