Mantra
Never bending out of place.
True to from save a trace,
 Of vague unfamiliarity
 That lurks in this space.
 That light cannot hold back
 And dark cannot wish away.
A sense of wonder I feel
And all my senses do betray.

 Hands clutch even tighter
 The empty that is real.
In this place of new found being,
 Empty is all I feel.
 My last breath robbed away
And my lips clasped to it.
Language is lost to my thought
 Words failing to fit.

 Transcending to a new found
 State of celestial reflection.
 Old ways cowering behind
A new found state of deflection.
 Feet planted so deep
 On a ground so shallow.
 Sanity finds a new body
 In which to solemnly wallow.

 Sky, yet so far away
 Maintains a steady trance.
 Pushing vision to its limits.
 I grasp this new chance,
 To see with my soul.
 Reach to the undertow.
As it washes me to the flood
I hold onto this new found flow.

 Mantra of my shell,
I close my eyes and wash away.
 Mantra of my spiraling thought,
Hold my breath and wash away.
