Butterfly
She flies and flits and flutters all day,
 Her magnificent colors,
 A beautiful array,
She sips the nectar of flowers in a peculiar way,
And enjoys to chase others in blissful play.
 Dear and free,
 Great and gay,
Why do you always flip-flap away?
 Whenever I'm near,
You leap up into the sky.
Your wings are silent without even a sigh.
You appear so small and fragile and mild,
But truly, inside you, you're exciting and wild!
I wish I could meet or become one of you someday,
For it must be great fun to flit-flutter and fly away.
