They Come!
In the black of night.
While you sleep in your warm bed,
They come.
They seek out your body,
Your flesh.
You sleep so soundly.
Why?
They’re almost there,
They want you.
You brought them to you,
Did you know that?
You antagonized them to the breaking point.
You teased them, prodded them, and spat in their faces.
Then, they planned, plotted and sought their revenge.
They bring knives and guns, the tools of the people, the tools you used on them.
Your people have turned, they see the truth in the lie.
They come for your flesh, you must give for what you have taken.
There isn’t time, you must leave before they arrive.
They come.
