A heart drenched
Ink and blood
A funeral procession
Of time and love
The sky turns black
As the wind howls
He stands beside
Her coffin of cold
He dies inside
Without her there
Her touch, her eyes
Cold as ice
A death song
Shatters silver silence
"I love you"
A slow soft whisper
She whispers it back
As his heart fails
The lie together
Cold and dead
Together forever
That's what they said.
