Iridescent
Golden tears,
shimmer and glide,
softly over these silken cheeks,
dropping off into my hands,
luminous crystal and pure.
Though in those orbs,
you can see a million stars,
shinning outward,
with my dreams,
glowing pale and iridescent.
Satin beads of ruby red spill forth from my bleeding heart,
Scarlet gems of the faintest truth,
pouring out like these golden tears,
from saphire eyes,
shattering as they fall to the floor.
