Never Alone

A whisper
from the breeze,
slowly slithers
through the trees.
Murmurs repeat
in a pattern
of a hearts beat
locked in a cavern.
The confused,
thickening the air
leaving the sun defused,
and strong despair.
We all ignore
the unknown,
trapped in doors
chances are blown.
The voice creeps close
becoming more clear,
keeping me on my toes,
listening on near.
"It's just me."
The voice had shown
letting me see,
we're never alone.
