We loved with a love that was more than love. -Edgar Allen Poe

Dear Space station,

I'm lost in the stars

I lost my hope lightyears ago

The roads don't exist

Not on Orian's Belt

Out in this world nothing exist

Dear Space Station,

I've ran out of completion

I thought I found something out here

But it turned out to be loneliness

Can you find me soon

Desperate, I'll cry if you don't appear

Because the galaxies darkening

The moon won't show herself

Dear Space Station,

I do understand now

I might not be worthy of your rescue

I think I belong in this stream of comets

I understand now that you won't show

My flare has finally died out

And all hope is lost on Saturn's rings

But if you decide to come...

Take me to your space station

I think this is more of what we dream. I felt that rocketships and planets were something that could be used to make this poem great.

"According to some, heroic deaths are admirable things. (Generally those who don't have to do it. Politicians and writers spring to mind.) I've never been convinced by this argument, mainly because, no matter how cool, stylish, composed, unflappable, manly, or defiant you are, at the end of the day you're also dead. Which is a little too permanent for my liking." — Jonathan Stroud (Ptolemy's Gate)

The good:  This was unique, fun, and made me think.  Good job!

The bad: There were a couple of places where you could have improved your grammar and word choice, but it wasn't anything major! :)  Good job!

The random:  Take me to your space station = awesome line

I agree, this was extremely creative and unique, I love the format, and the ending is excellent.

It's never to late, if it weren't for the last minute many things would never get done!

This is a very good poem with an almost hidden message (meaning it makes you think.) It also could be interpreted in different ways, which is cool. The wording could be improved a bit in some places but still a very creative poem!

"Dear God," she prayed, "let me be something every minute of every hour of my life. Let me be gay; let me be sad. Let me be cold; let me be warm. Let me be hungry...have too much to eat. Let me be ragged or well dressed. Let me be sincere - be deceitful. Let me be truthful; let me be a liar. Let me be honorable and let me sin. Only let me be something every blessed minute. And when I sleep, let me dream all the time so that not one little piece of living is ever lost." - Betty Smith (A Tree Grows in Brooklyn)

This is one of my favorite poems I've read on here!! It's very imaginative and whimsical, and it makes me think. Great job!!
