My hands are held high
I flutter breathlessly into northern skies
 and I dream
of one day seeing all those things
the things that only god has witnessed
lands of beauty and flawless remarks
the golden sun hangs daringly high in that
oxygenated field of puffy off-white clouds and baby blue
it fades to midnight one more time
 just one more time
is it time to say goodbye
is it time to say goodnight
 moonlit darkness becomes the sultan
the sultan of a mysterious ebony empire of nightfall
 eyes closed
 nightmare begins
 eyes open
 nightmare ends
 your golden lullaby shines bright
there is someone trying to get to you
they're telling you to never let go of life
