Love stinks
Love stinks; it does not speak to me,
it does not let me be,
it’s got me trapped and I can’t see
 the void of feeling.

Love sucks, I do not want it.
 I want it damning
for having to write about it
and all its voyages through my heart.

You rest your head on my shoulder
 and stay quiet, and colder.
You take me to be bolder,
 you’re pretty much not sincere.

Love, if you’d just talk to me,
If you’d just let me be,
 Maybe then I could see,
 How much I’ve hoped.
