A World With You

Should I escape
to a world of my own
where there isn't death
or cancer
where there isn't selfish teenagers
who would rather me put their problems
in front of mine.
A world
where I don't feel this pain
I'm drowning in
Where thinking about you
doesn't make me cry
but makes me smile.
A world where I no longer
need to miss you
because you would be right there
be my side.
