Silent Cries
Silent red tears
Run down her arms
Black beads fall from her eyes
Rain falls outside
And she locks herself in her room
Left alone too hurt to cry
How do you change the past
How do you turn back time
How do you move on from your own lies
She stares at the walls
And looks down at the floor
She opens her windows
She sticks her head outside
She could jump if she wanted
Or she could walk out the door
No one would care if she died
Would they come to her grave
Would anyone cry
She stares at the mirror
And shivers inside
There’s a monster looking back
Urging her to die
